Synopsis: In this seminar we will be discussing the four disciplic successions (sampradayas) authorized in Vedic scriptures. They are:
Rudra-sampradaya - from Lord Siva
Sri-sampradaya- the goddess of fortune. Laxmi, and
Kumara-sampradaya, descending from Sanat-Kumära.
Brahma-sampradaya descending directly from Lord Brahma
Vedic Systems of Philosophy
Synopsis: In this seminar we will be discussing the six main vedic philosophies.
1) Nyaya (logic), [Gautama Rsi]
2) Vaisheshika (atomic theory), [Kanada Rsi]
3) Sankhyaa (analysis of matter and spirit), [Lord Kapila]
4) Yoga (the discipline of self-realization), [Patanjali Rsi]
5) Karma-mimamsa (the science of fruitive work) [Jaimini Rsi] and
6) Vedanta (the science of God realization) [Srila Vyasa dev]
Life in Heaven
Synopsis: Here a description of heaven in all its details is given beginning from how to get there through rituals and religious life. We will be discussing birth and life style in heaven, including the king and administration, the cities, civil laws and laws of relativity, as well as anxiety and miseries and even death in heaven.
Life in a Hellish Planet
Synopsis: A description of hell is given including the what activities bring us to this place, the laws, how bodies are made to endure the suffering, animals, time, death and even the solution to overcome life in a Hellish Planet. Also a description of subterranean heavenly planets is given in this topic, which are as good as hell.
The Material Cosmos
Synopsis: Descriptions of the creation of collective and individual universes, aspects of Vishnu's appearance as creator, maintainer and destroyer, as well as the covering of the individual souls, planets and the universe itself, the living entities, karma, destiny and liberation culminating in love of God.
Consciousness and Super Consciousness
Synopsis: The qualities of consciousness, body, mind, matter, intelligence and supreme consciousness area all discussed. The material nature, time and conditioned life are also discussed.
Krishna, the source of all incarnations
Synopsis: Here we give an explanation of the three aspects of Krishna, Brahman, Paramatma, and Bhagavan, as well as the universal form, Krishna's incarnations, expansions, and potencies (activity, knowledge, and willing).
The Spiritual World, Vaikuntha
Synopsis: The qualities of time, the spiritual body and bodily features, houses, food, water, relationships, 4 kinds of liberation, and locations of planets in Vaikuntha are all discussed.
Life in Goloka Vrindhavana
Synopsis: Descriptions of desire trees, Krishna's beauty, the Gopis (young and old), the Gopas, the Yamuna River, and Mother Yasoda, This seminar also discusses about intimate relationship with young maidens, Krishna' eating, sleeping and bathing. How demons can be present in a place superior to Vaikuntha or how Goloka vasis could even have an impression of having seen demons there before and More over if Goloka is purely spiritual how can inanimate things like logs, carts, stones and dust from cows' hooves exist there?
